Joining the DAO

The RibbleChain DAO governs the network, allowing $XRB holders to propose and vote on RibbleChain Improvement Proposals (RIPs). This guide explains how to join the DAO.

Prerequisites​

Step 1: Access the DAO Portal​

Visit the DAO Portal. Connect your wallet:

  • Click "Connect Wallet."
  • Approve in the RibbleChain Wallet app.

Step 2: Join the DAO​

  • Verify your $XRB balance (minimum 1 $XRB to participate).
  • Click "Join DAO" and confirm the transaction (gasless).
  • Receive a DAO membership NFT (optional).

Step 3: Explore DAO Features​

  • Proposals: View active RIPs and their details.
  • Voting: Cast votes on RIPs (see Voting).
  • Discussions: Join forums on Community Channels.

Step 4: Propose a RIP​

Submit a new RIP (requires 10,000 $XRB):

  • Navigate to the "Propose" tab.
  • Enter the RIP details (title, description, changes).
  • Confirm the proposal (see RIPs).
