Apply for Grants
RibbleChain offers grants to fund projects that enhance the ecosystem, such as dApps, tools, or infrastructure. Grants are paid in $XRB from the Ecosystem Fund. This guide explains how to apply for a grant.
Prerequisites
- A project idea that benefits RibbleChain (e.g., a GameFi dApp, cross-chain tool).
- A RibbleChain smart wallet (see Creating a Smart Wallet).
Step 1: Access the Grants Portal
Visit the RibbleChain Grants Portal:
- URL: grants.ribblechain.com.
- Connect your smart wallet.
Step 2: Submit a Grant Application
- Click "Apply for a Grant".
- Fill out the application form:
- Project Name: E.g., "RibbleGame: A Play-to-Earn RPG".
- Description: Outline your project and its impact.
- Funding Request: Amount in $XRB (e.g., 10,000 $XRB).
- Milestones: Define deliverables and timelines.
- Submit the application.
Step 3: Review Process
- The RibbleChain team reviews your application within 14 days.
- You may be contacted for additional details or a pitch.
- Approved projects receive $XRB funding in tranches based on milestones.
Step 4: Receive Funding
- Once approved, the first tranche of $XRB is sent to your wallet.
- Complete milestones to unlock further funding.
- Track funding in the Grants Portal under "My Grants".
Step 5: Showcase Your Project
- After completion, showcase your project in the RibbleChain ecosystem.
- Promote it via Community Channels.
- Eligible projects may receive bonus $XRB airdrops (see Airdrops).
