Voting

Voting in the RibbleChain DAO allows $XRB holders to approve or reject RibbleChain Improvement Proposals (RIPs). This guide explains how to vote on RIPs.

Prerequisites

• A RibbleChain smart wallet with $XRB (see Creating a Smart Wallet).
• Membership in the DAO.

Step 1: Access the Voting Portal

Visit the DAO Portal. Connect your wallet:

• Click "Connect Wallet."
• Approve in the RibbleChain Wallet app.

Step 2: View Active RIPs

Navigate to the "Proposals" tab. Browse active RIPs, including details like:

• RIP ID (e.g., RIP_123).
• Description and proposed changes.
• Voting deadline.

Step 3: Cast Your Vote

• Select a RIP and choose "Vote For" or "Vote Against."
• Your voting power is proportional to your $XRB balance.
• Confirm the vote (gasless).
