RibbleChain hosts hackathons to encourage developers to build innovative dApps, tools, and infrastructure. Winners receive $XRB prizes and potential grants. This guide explains how to participate in a hackathon.

Step 1: Find a Hackathon

Visit the RibbleChain Hackathon Portal:

Step 2: Register Your Team

  • Click "Register" for the hackathon.
  • Form a team (1-5 members) or join as a solo developer.
  • Submit your team details:
    • Team Name: E.g., "GameFi Pioneers".
    • Member Wallets: Connect your smart wallet.
  • Confirm registration via email.

Step 3: Build Your Project

  • Submit your project before the deadline:
    • Upload a demo video (3-5 minutes).
    • Provide a GitHub link to your code.
    • Include a README with setup instructions.
  • Deploy your dApp on the testnet and share the URL.

Step 5: Win $XRB Prizes

  • Projects are judged on innovation, usability, and impact.
  • Top 3 teams receive $XRB prizes:
    • 1st Place: 25,000 $XRB.
    • 2nd Place: 15,000 $XRB.
    • 3rd Place: 10,000 $XRB.
  • Winners may also qualify for Grants.

  • Innovation: Focus on unique features (e.g., gasless GameFi mechanics).
  • Testing: Ensure your dApp works on the testnet.
  • Presentation: Create a compelling demo to impress judges.
  • Community: Promote your project in Community Channels.
